This day we celebrate the graduation of our students. In the classroom that I was, we bought pizza, cake, candies and ballons to decorate the classroom. Also, we prepare games, an artistic point for kids, and a video with some photos and short videos of the things that we did during the class. Unfortunately, only one of our students arrive, but we share for the last time with him. First, we made a game of clues in which children had to find the professions. Then, we played a Bingo game of animals and professions. And as we did not had enough students, some of us act as a student. After that, we dance and sing the songs "Five little monkeys" and "If you are happy" and at the end we gave to our student the diploma and we ate the pizza, soda and the cake. I really enjoy to spend my time with him. Although, I would like to do those things with all the students.
I think that this was a good experience for me. I really learn in each class of how we have to teach children. The things that we have and we do not have to do with them, as give them candies because they feel hyperactive. This experience was satisfactory for me and I think that I can learn of my students too and not just them. Now, I know that we do not have to underestimate kids just for their age, because they are able to do more than we expected. And I think that is something that every one in our classroom learn.

Twelfth Class, October 20th, 2017
This day, we went to one of the buildings of the Universidad Don Bosco for a Conference with Katy Casto that is part of the ELF in El Salvador. She gave us 10 tips for made us a good teacher. The tip number one was "Be (or get) excited about the class control. She explained us that if we share our exciment of learn a new topic, that will be contagios for students and they will want to learn more.
The point number two was "Create a lesson structure that works for you and follow it consistently". And she explain us about I do, we do and you do. She said that the first thing in a lesson plan is the "I do", this is the momment when the teacher explain the topic. Then is the "We do", that is when students practice what the teacher explained them and in this part, the teacher can help them if they made a mistake. The third thing is the "You do", this is the part in which students show what they learn during the class. This is the challenging part to them.
The point number three was "Command respect from your students". Katy explain us that is important to teach students how they are going to treat us and to their classmates. And that one idea could be create a code of conduct.
The point 4 was "Give students leadership opportunities and other responsabilities". She said that is important to give some responsabilities to the students as keep clean the classroom or someone that is in charge of clean the board.
The 5th point was "Incorporate V A K (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) in every lesson". Katy explain us that is important to create this kind of lesson because every student learn in a different way and this could help them.
The 6th point was "Plan questions based on knowledge goals". Before teach a lesson it is important to ask ourselves "What should the students be able to do at the end of the lesson?, Which skills are they developing through each activity?". These questions could help us to choose better our activities.
The 7th point was "Evaluate using rubrics". A rubric can help teachers to be sure of the things that will be account when they are evaluating.
The 8th point was "Collect and use data". We can give pre-test to determinated prior knowledges.
The 9th point was "Take time to reflect and adjust"
And the last point was "Encourage a growth mindset". And those were the 10 tips that Katy gave us. I think that this tips are going to be useful for us when we start to teach.
In the second part of the class, we made groups and we started to plan the close ceremony of the kids of Colegio Don Bosco.

Eleventh Class, October 13th, 2017
This day was the last day in which we taugh at Colegio Don Bosco. The first lesson was giving by the teachers Brenda, Hilda and me. Our topic was "Professions" and our skill was listening. First, we started with the song "If you are happy". I think that was a good way to break the ice. Then I presented the vocabulary that children were going to use in the following activity. I made a matching game in which children pasted the picture with the correct name. Then, teacher Hilda presented the audio. The audio was about "Job descriptions", and in the first worksheet children had to choose the best tittle and in the second one they had to circle the correct answer based on what they listened in the audio. At the end, Children made a puzzle and then they passed and explain what they are based on the picture that was in the puzzle.
Then, the teachers Antonio, Melissa, Steven and Gaby present the same topic but their skill was reading. They present their vocabulary and then they give to each children a paper with a short story called "Thomas and his friends". They read it and then they answer a worksheet. Then, they choose a one of the student and this kid had to put in order one of the events based on what the teacher read.

Their last activity was really challenging, because the kids were able to present by themselves their pictures and explain to the observers what they are using "I am a..."
Personally I really enjoy this day. And this was all for this class.
Tenth Class, October 6th, 2017
In this class, we went again to Colegio Don Bosco.
The first lesson was giving by the teachers Andrea, Cubias, Pamela and Steven.
They taught about "Professions" and their skill was vocabulary. First, teacher Pamela started the class with a matching game on the board; in which, kids have to draw a line to connect the pictures with their names. Then, they presented some examples of when we can use those professions. And every time that children answer correct, they give them a pasted a star next to their names and at the end the one that has more star will win a surprise.
The second skill was grammar and the topic was "Professions".
The theachers were Emanuel, Andrea and Ricardo. First, they present the vocabulary and some words were new for the kids, but, they were able to understood them. Then, they present the grammar part that was the verb to be. And they give the example of "I am a doctor". I think that for kids was a little confuse this topic because of the articles "a/an". That also was given by the teacher and maybe was a lot of information to them and at the end they seems a little bit bored. But they understood most of the class and that was great.
Both groups makes their best in this day. And this was all for this day.
